My experience with VGD1 was that we just learned the basics and i had to help my teammates because the class was a bit confusing at first but it got easier as the semester went on. I chose to continue VGD2 because i hoped that it would be faster paced because VGD1 was slow and easy and i hope to make an actual video game and not some baby's play game. I hope to accomplish something along the lines of a good game that people will enjoy but isn't on Scratch or Gamestar because those programs are to easy to use and i hope to accomplish something that will be great for all people and have many Easter eggs inside of it because come on, who doesn't like Easter eggs.
